Bryan was a fighter in the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment. He was collecting supplies in Back-bay Boston before being gunned down.

Bryan is part of Tom's group to find Alexander Vlensa. After Alexander's death, he is led down and alley by Captain Jameson, but is ambushed by a Mech. He witnesses Jameson's death, and after the Mech is destroyed stays with Tom's group to search for food.

Bryan was collecting supplies with Tom Mason, Hal Mason and others in Boston, MA when they came under attack from Skitters and Mechs, Tom tried to warn Bryan to watch out, but a Mech had already targeted him, and he was shot and killed.
