Goodman is a trusted fighter in the 2nd Mass which led him to command of his own unit. Margaret, a fighter in the 2nd Mass asked to transfer to Goodman's unit, and when Maggie informs Hal he remarks about his age, saying "isn't he like 50?".

Goodman's fate is unknown, as Goodman has yet to be mentioned after the episode Homecoming, it is possible that he perished during one of the many fights with the Espheni, however it is unknown.
