This skitter was one of the scouts which was sent to scope out John F. Kennedy High School.
Story[]
Season 1[]
"Sanctuary (Part 1)"[]
This Skitter was part of a scout team hunting for the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment alongside a Mech. As the Mech engaged the 2nd Mass fighters, the Skitter followed Jimmy Boland into John F. Kennedy High School where he attempted to alert the 2nd Mass of the attack. As Jimmy stood near a partially-open door, the Skitter grabbed by the throat from behind and attempted to strangle Jimmy to death. Jimmy managed to shoot the Skitter's arm with a pistol, forcing it to let go of his throat and shot another arm that was holding his foot. However, Jimmy was no match for the Skitter who disarmed him. As the Skitter stalked Jimmy through a classroom, Jimmy threw a globe at it which it caught and crushed. Jimmy recovered his pistol and tried to shoot it to no avail as he was out of ammunition. Before the Skitter could kill Jimmy, his screams drew Captain Daniel Weaver who decapitated the Skitter with a shotgun blast from behind.
"What Hides Beneath"[]
Doctor Anne Glass is revealed to have secretly kept the body of the Skitter and enlists Lourdes Delgado's help in performing an autopsy on the Skitter after spotting a patch of hardened skin around Ben Mason's spikes. Inside, the two discover a harness, revealing that the Skitters were originally something else and are as controlled as the harnessed kids are.
"Mutiny"[]
Upon Tom Mason's return to the school, Anne reveals to him the harness inside of the cut-open body of the Skitter. Tom, who thought he had his son back, grows worried over the implications along with the fact that Anne had found hardened skin around Ben's spikes.
